Evan’s Fall Morning Routine- Strengthen Your Body and Boost Your Immunity in 3 Steps

Powerful morning routines and success go together like a sharp left hook and a leg kick.

Hey guys, Evan here. If I could go back 10 years and talk to my younger self, I’d share all the tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years to get the most out of every morning.

When our physical health is on point, everything else falls into place.

As we swing into Fall, it’s the perfect time to boost our immune systems and make sure our body has what it needs to move through falling temperatures and rising cases of colds and the flu (not to mention the ever-present concern about COVID-19).

I’m going to share my current routine designed to give your body and your mind exactly what it needs to finish 2020 strong.

Three Steps to a Powerful Fall Morning Routine:

1. Get Your Body Moving

I start my day with light stretching and yoga. To warm up my muscles and joints, I use doTERRA’s Deep Blue essential oil. It packs a punch with four oils blended together that not only warm up my muscles but decrease pain and inflammation.

- Camphor: Heats up muscles and joints.

- Wintergreen: Dulls pain.

- Peppermint: Reduces inflammation.

- Helichrysum: Helps your body work to heal damaged tissue.

Warming up with Deep Blue is crucial as it decreases my recovery time between workouts.

After I’m warmed up, I do some light weight training.

2. Feed Your Body

Streamline your breakfast routine with dense nutrition that’s quick to throw together. My milkshake is perfect for this.

Evan’s Body Fuel Milkshake Recipe

2 cups oat milk

Raw Cacao- 1 Tbsp

Hemp seeds- 1 Tbsp

Oatmeal- 1 Tbsp

Walnuts- 1 Tbsp

Milled Flaxseed- 1 Tbsp

Chia Seeds- 1 Tbsp

EV Coconut Oil- 1 Tbsp

Unsalted Peanut Butter- 1 Tbsp

1 organic banana

2 drops of cardamom oil (great for respiratory health)


Mix together in a blender. If you add more ice, the mixture tends to be thicker.

3. Feed Your Immune System

After my shake, I take a veggie cap and fill it with 4 drops of On Guard and 4 drops of Zendocrine.

On Guard- doTERRA’s On Guard is a proprietary essential oil blend that’s an effective alternative for immune support. You can take it internally or use it externally.

Zendocrine- This doTERRA essential oil blend helps to support liver and kidney function.


Following these three steps every morning helps me accomplish more than I ever thought possible.
