Grapefruit Ginger Smoothie: Gut Cleanser

As we kick off the new year I am taking a fresh approach to the whole “new year, new you” gimmick. How about “new year, beautiful you” period. Don’t change a thing this year if you don’t want to and just embrace happiness where you’re at.

That’s where I’m at right now at least. While I’m excited to shed some bad habits and remodel my work style, I’m also feeling A LOT more content about myself and where I’m at in my life then ever before. New year or not. What changed?

It’s not like I haven’t constructed a vision board and established big audiacious dreams for 2020. It’s just that I have A LOT less anxiety over the past few months. For someone that’s dealt with that for the past decade, you’ll never guess what I’m chalking up this MAJOR shift to …


YEP, I know, this might sound shocking, but I’ve been focusing on rebalancing my digestive system by focusing on eliminating parasites from my gut.

I want to share with you some of the stuff that’s changed for me as a result:

-Less anxiousness
-My adult onset acne breakouts have FINALLY cleared up!
-The bags under my eyes have dissapaited
-My hair is growing better
-My energy is better
-I recover from workouts faster
-Less sinus congestion

However, my sleep hasn’t been all that great, which is actually a sign that I’m not done cleaning out my digestive system.

Grapefruit Ginger Smoothie

-1 organic grapefruit
-1 organic orange
-1 tsp Beet Powder
-1 drop Lemon essential oil
-1 drop Ginger essential oil

-Put all ingredients into blender. Add ice for desired consistency.
